How are you? Welcome to my blog. In this post, I will talk about Futtun’s progress update, from Monday 19 January 2026 to today, Sunday 25 January 2026.
Added TypeScript support to the database logic#
Last week, I said I was embarking into a refactor of the database logic. I am pleased to say I have finished, and now my code has TypeScript type support. The functions I use have their arguments typed, and so is their return value.
It is going to be invisible to the user once Futtun launches, but positive in ease of use when developing, and to catch errors.
Added navigational header#
There is a navigational header at the top of every page. For the time being, it only has a link to go back to the homepage. That will change this upcoming week, with the introduction of a new page to view all your thoughts on Futtun.
